The Situation: A few years ago Microsoft acquired HockeyApp, a service for app developers to support them in various aspects of their development process, including the management and recruitment of testers, the distribution of apps and the collection of crash reports. They needed to reassure current HockeyApp customers that by migrating to Microsoft’s AppCenter, they would get all the tools they knew and loved and much more.
The Solution: Circa helped develop a transition website to educate and inform current HockeyApp users that App Center fits into developers’ workflow at every step in the process. In addition to site design we created videos, original illustrations and animations throughout the site that reinforced AppCenter as the future of app development.
