The Situation:
Many travelers in Mexico aren’t aware that Oakland offers the best gateway to the San Francisco Bay Area. With several new flights launching from Mexico to OAK, we needed to educate the market and position the airport as the most convenient entry point.
The Solution:
We developed the “Tu Puerta” (“Your Gateway”) campaign, reinforcing OAK as the easiest and most direct way to access San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and the greater Bay Area. Tailoring messaging for business, family, and leisure travelers, we delivered a Spanish-only campaign that resonated with key audiences.
The campaign is currently running across Mexico and Central America through in-airport advertising, out-of-home placements, digital marketing, and PR, building awareness and driving preference for OAK.
